An Invitation to Create, Honor, and Remember
Vougler Arts Magazine Vol. 5 is a space to reflect on what we carry, what we grieve, and what we celebrate.
This issue is inspired by the spirit of Halloween and the traditions of Día de los Muertos. We welcome visual artists, poets, photographers, performers, and models to share work that explores themes of spirit, memory, identity, and transformation.
You are invited to honor your loved ones, connect with your culture, and bring your inner world to life through your art. The tone can be surreal, sacred, bold, soft, or something in between.
What We're Looking For
We are drawn to work that speaks to altars, marigolds, ancestry, rituals, beauty, grief, duality, and emotional storytelling.
All styles are welcome, including experimental, traditional, digital, or live performance. You may submit past or new work, as long as it feels connected and intentional.
One model will be chosen to appear on the cover of Vougler Arts Magazine Vol. 5. The model may choose their own concept, as long as it stays within the overall theme.
Your Feature in the Magazine
You will be featured in a custom spread that includes your name, a detailed artist bio, and the work you choose to share. Write about your art, share a poem, tell a personal story, or answer a few interview-style questions. If you prefer, you can let us write an article-style piece about you based on your bio and submission.
You have the freedom to decide how your spread looks and feels, as long as it stays connected to the theme. We welcome visual storytelling, writing, or a thoughtful combination of both.

3 pages — $30
4 pages — $40

This special feature includes a full photoshoot, a five-page magazine spread, and professional photo prints.
The total cost is $200.
Selected artists will receive payment instructions after review.
